A small Lincolnshire village, eight miles south-west of Lincoln.
The OpenStreetMap window below is centred on the parish of Aubourn with Haddington. The pin marks The Old Vicarage on Church Lane.
By car from Lincoln: take the A46 south, turn right at the Bassingham junction, follow the lane through Haddington into Aubourn. The Old Vicarage is on the left at the church end of Church Lane. There is room to park a small car in the lay-by opposite St Peter's.
By bus: the Stagecoach 13 from Lincoln (St Mark's) calls at Aubourn village green twice a day in each direction, Monday to Saturday. It is a five-minute walk from the green to The Old Vicarage.
On foot: a public footpath runs along the river bank from Bassingham and joins Church Lane at the south end of the village. Bring boots in winter.
